Artico. Final frontier
Scheduled from January 15 to April 2 at the Casa dei Tre Oci in Venice, Arctic. Final Frontier is a photographic exhibition featuring a strong intent to raise awareness to the issues of environmental sustainability.
The exhibition, curated by Denis Curti, consists of 120 pictures taken in black and white, by three great masters of reportage photography: Paolo Solari Bozzi (Rome, 1957), Ragnar Axelsson (Kopavogur, Iceland, 1958) and Carsten Egevang (Taastrup, Denmark, 1969). The images capture the hostilities in which the habitants are forced to live in some of the most hostile areas from the perspective of Earth's climate in Greenland, Siberia, Alaska and Iceland. So the exhibition becomes a proposal for dialogue between nature and civilization, with a strenuous defense of one of the last untapped natural environments by man.
