In Ca' Zenobio, this splendid baroque Palace, where is located the "Collegio Armeno" (Armenian Boarding School) of Venice. Under the drive of the young Vartan Karapetian a new office will open on September 03rd 2010.
This initiative has been thought by the Association Ailanthus and would like to create in Venice a centre where the curious people could find cultural and usefull information about Armenia.
The Office is located at Dorsoduro 2598 in the building of the Armenian Boarding School with separated entrance on the Fondamenta del
Soccorso.
The website is in preparation and will be online on September 03rd 2010: www.infoarmenia.it.
"This is not a Travel Agency" precises Mr. Karapetian, "The Centre will help people to know better the cultural charms of Armenia, build a visit itinerary, find free informative material (guidebook, maps), and a little library with texts about the country and its culture.
But,on the other hand we envisage to organise travels to discover the Armenian Civilisation (with high cultural contents) and in October
will be available also a card which gives to the travelers the possibility to have discounts in some of our museums, hotels and restaurants.
We will also organise some visits long the Armenian itineraries in Venice, as the Boarding School itself, the medieval church of Santa Croce degli Armeni in San Marco's Square and the Armenian Monastry of San Lazzaro.".
Don't miss the opening on September 03rd!!!
