Every corner of Venice is a piece of History, an artwork, a place where to stand for a reflection about how great it was in the past.
This section offers information and curiosities about all the well known parts of the city as Saint Mark’ s square, Rialto, the Grand Canal as well about lesser known corners as theatres, churches, Fondaci, the Ghetto, that have so much to offer.

Ca’ Rezzonico is one of the few palaces on the Canal Grande opened to visitors. Since 1934 it is the site of the XVIII century museum. Its rooms are decorated with paintings and frescos took from other palaces of the City.

Campo Santa Margherita, surrounded of houses from the XIV and XV century, is a very well known meeting point of the Dorsoduro District area.

It stands majestic reflecting its shadow onto the Grand Canal and Saint Mark's Basin just a few steps from Punta della Dogana, in Dorsoduro

The Church is the fulcrum of the Redentore's feast, celebrated on the third Saturday of July, all citizens are involved (in memory of a plague that killed a third of the population in 1557).

The Island can be admired from Riva degli Schiavoni, in Saint Mark’s. It is separated from the island of Giudecca from the Canale delle Grazie and the only way to reach it is by public water boat or a taxi boat.

The present Church has been consacrated in 1562, the project is by Antonio Abbondi(1506) and the building ended in 1548. It is on the Sestiere of Dorsoduro and it faces the homonymous canal.
