Christmas Market in Venice

Also this year the city of Venice propose the Christmas Market. In the historical centre, in “ Campo S. Stefano “, from early days of December until the Christmas Eve, will be staged the event "Christmas in the Lagoon" and, thanks to the effort of the Artisans Association, there will be installed 30 wooden houses, a fine reproduction of the ones used in the northern Europe countries.

All around the square it is possible to find lots of quality artisan products, such as pottery, dolls, gifts and gifts for furniture, candles and Christmas ornaments, jewellery, Murano glass , watercolours, masks, handmade soaps, sweets made entirely by hand and with high quality ingredients, all this to create a great  Christmas  atmosphere and to buy gift without spending a fortune.

The idea of this initiative, proposed by the Artisan association, was born not only to offer a sampling of quality artisan products, but also to create a meeting place where tourists and Venetians can taste local cuisine specialties , and celebrating the festivity.
