VENICE CARNIVAL 2025
The Venice Carnival 2025 promises to be an extraordinary event, full of magic and tradition. Known all over the world for its elegant costumes, mysterious masks, and enchanting atmosphere, the Carnival transforms the city into a magical stage. Every year, participants immerse themselves in a journey between history and fantasy, with parades, masked balls, and shows that recall the ancient splendor of the Serenissima.
The Venice Carnival 2025 will take place from February 15 to March 4, offering ten unforgettable days of celebration, history, art, and fun.
One of the main events is the Flight of the Angel, when a masked angel will descend from the Campanile of St. Mark's Square, officially opening the Carnival.
The Festa delle Marie will be held, a parade of 12 girls in traditional costumes who will walk through the city's most iconic squares is one of the most followed event
Another unmissable event is the Flight of the Lion: a masked person will descend from the same tower, but this time wearing a lion mask, the symbol of Venice.
The Carnival will end with the traditional Carnival Marathon, a final parade of spectacular costumes. It’s a unique opportunity to experience the magic and mystery of Venice.
