Peggy Guggenheim In Photographs
Ikona Gallery hosts a suggestive exhibit which tells the life of the famous Peggy Guggenheim through many pictures. All theses photos describes the extraordinary life of he American collector who has influenced the last century. It was a life characterized by continuous travels around Italy, Europe and America. The exhibit belongs to the many events created in order to celebrate the 500 years of the Venetian Ghetto and it is organised by Ziva Kraus: founder and director of the Gallery. The pictures were taken by the most famous photographers of the epoch as Rogl Andrè, Rolof Beny, Glannl Berenongo, Man Ray and many others. Ikona Gallery was founded in 1979 and in 1989 became an International School of Photography, this gallery has hosted the greatest protagonists of worldwide photography.
